Elegant Stitches was "born"
in 1986 out of necessity - we couldn't find top quality smocking and heirloom sewing
supplies to sew for our own children. In the past 24 years we have come from having 8
bolts of fabric and a handful of patterns & plates to being one of the largest shops
of our kind in North Carolina. (The children we were sewing for are now
either in
college, grad school or have graduated and are out on their own and there is
now an "elegant granddaughter". How quickly time flies!)
In addition to our wide array of patterns, fabrics & sewing supplies
we are also factory authorized & trained
 and
sewing machine dealers.
We have moved from our original
location in downtown Cary, North Carolina. We are just 3 1/2 miles
South of there and still just minutes from Raleigh, Chapel Hill and Durham.
If you are in our area please drop by and see our spacious shop with

shop hours are 10:00 am -6:00 pm Monday - Thursday and 10:00 am -4:00 pm on Friday and
